Ludbrook House is 3 hours drive on State Highway One from Auckland's Harbour
bridge.
Ludbrook House is one kilometre from the village of Ohaeawai on State Highway
One., Ohaeawai is at the junction of State Highway One (1) and Twelve (12) and
is approximately mid-way between the East and West Coasts of Northland.
Signposts to Ohaeawai are seen at Whangarei, Kawakawa and Pakaraka
Watch for:
- Kawakawa, where the highway takes a sharp turn left and where the old railway line runs down the middle of the highway.
You can stop and look at the famous Hunderwasser toilets.
- The junction of SH1 and SH10. We are still 5 minutes
driving on SH1 (not up Ludbrook Road!)
- The Ludbrook House sign on your left as you drive up a highway passing lane.
OTHER TRANSPORT OPTIONS
- Kerikeri Airport is 15minutes distance from Ludbrook House. Flights arrive 4 times daily.
- Ludbrook House has a courtesy pickup or we can arrange a rental car
to be waiting at the airfield
- Ludbrook House has a helicopter landing site.
